Pablo Larraín's "Spencer" is a haunting fable that documents Princess Diana's inner turmoil unlike anything I've seen before. Kristen Stewart plays her most challenging role yet with such ease, it's hard to fully believe it's her. From the very onset of the movie, Stewart effortlessly establishes the disconnect between Diana and the rest of the family, detailing just how removed she is from them, with the exception of her sons.

It has been nearly 25 years since her death, but Princess Diana has remained at the center of our conversations, her story forever having a place in the spotlight, in movies, books, and even in a musical. If you missed experiencing "Spencer" at the cinema, you can stream it at home on a number of platforms right now. And you should, because Stewart's efforts deserve to unfold on your screen.

Spencer Is Available On Digital

"Spencer" is available on digital, which means you can watch it at home whenever you want. The movie is set against the backdrop of the Queen's luxurious Sandringham Estate, where the royals get together for Christmas festivities each year. In December 1991, as the family prepares to spend the holidays at their glorious estate, Diana battles with her strained marriage, eventually coming to the decision of separating from Prince Charles (Jack Farthing).

The movie is available to rent or purchase on Amazon Prime Video, Vudu (Fandango), and Google Play, where you can rent it for $19.99 or purchase it for $24.99. You can also rent it or buy it via DirectTV, for $19.99 and $22.99 respectively. Verizon has "Spencer" too, and you can choose to either buy or rent it out from the provider for $21.99 and $19.99.

Other streaming platforms that offer "Spencer" include Xfinity, AMC Theatres (On Demand), Spectrum, Redbox, and Row8.

Or...Wait For The Blu-Ray

"Spencer" is also getting the Blu-ray treatment. Slated to release in the new year on January 11, the Blu-ray version will include a bonus feature titled "The Making Of Spencer," and can be pre-ordered via Amazon. There is also a DVD option available.

Kristen Stewart embodies the late Princess beautifully, and her accent is faultless. It's incredible how her iteration of Diana is able to showcase how it feels like to be claustrophobic even in a sprawling estate with unending hallways and princely rooms. "Spencer" is a fairy tale of sorts, one that draws from the horror elements found in those classic stories. But there's a difference: in this fairy tale, the Princess rescues herself.
